Topical Cannabis Infused Oil
This batch of infused oil is for topical use only. Only because of the essential oils added.
((If you’d like to try the infused oil without essential oils added, you can still use it for topical, but, you can also ingest it. Pure Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Cold Pressed and Unrefined used for the infusions. Can be mixed with food, taken orally or sublingually. Dosage can be weighed if the oil is solidified, or melted you can use an oral syringe. Unrefined coconut oil will melt at about 78 degrees F. Potency is standardized at 40mg per gram for edible and 20mg per gram for topical.))
The Topical formula is 1:1. One part cbd and one part thc. Potency standardized to 20mg per gram (10mg cbd, 10mg thc). Total 1200 mg per 2 oz jar. 1 gram is equal to 1 ml for water. Oil is lighter than water so about 1.1 ml equals 1 gram. Just pull out the 1ml syringe all the way till it stops and you will have 1 gram of oil by weight.
Essential oils Patchouli and Sandalwood, and, Frankincense and Myrrh are paired together for additional healing benefits and aromas.
Use of cannabis oil topically is a great way to get cannabinoids into your body. Everything moves towards the heart, so if you use it on your hands and forearms or feet and lower legs, for example, the cannabinoids will travel up your arms or legs through your shoulders, knees and hips. Under arms is a great place to allow infusion into your body. Scalp is another favorite. You can use the oil for full body massage for a thorough and high potency experience. Keep away from eyes though. It is very good to use on your face and neck, ears and along the hair line. However, even if you keep it away from your eyes, the absorption and/or if you rub your eyes, you may experience some burning and itching of the eyes. Just use and mild soap such as Bronner’s Castile soap unscented and a wash cloth and soak and clean your eyes. This will bring immediate relief and also is very helpful for your eyes and eye lids, to use a warm compress and gentle cleansing regularly.
For a nice cooling effect and the added benefits of Pure Aloe Vera gel, you can add up to equal amounts to your topical oil. Shake well before each use. There will be a separation of aloe and oil that will take the form of appearing as though there are hundreds of bubble like beads, like tapioca used in bubble tea. It’s fascinating to look at. I also add vitamin E oil with jojoba, avocado, almond, apricot, argan, rosehips and lavender oils for additional health support. (pura d’or natural organic pure vitamin E oil)
Kief, Hand Sifted from Cured Cannabis Flower
The Kief is also 1:1, one part cbd and one part thc. Hand sifted from cured full flower. This produces an extraordinarily high quality kief. Full flavor enjoyment and a delightfully complete effect. Strains used were Sour Lifter Hemp cbd, Sativa and Lemonade Papaya OG, thc, sativa. Usually smoked in a pipe or add to a joint. Kief is also used for the basis of hash and medically infused preparations, oral, topical, poultices and cooking.
The onset is intense and trippy but quickly evens out, within 5 minutes or so as the cbd provides anti anxiety and clarity, ultimately balancing the effects of both cannabinoids.
Notes: Research has shown that the therapeutic effects of cbd and thc are potentiated when combined. “The whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts” Aristotle. Often used is 1:1 ratio, though this can be adjusted according to need and specific tolerance of each individual. Also, the “entourage effect” of full flower infusion, (as apposed to commercial extract and isolation of thc or cbd using volatile and dangerous chemicals,) includes all the cannabinoids, terpenoids, phyto and micro nutrients, known and “unknown” naturally present in full flower, all working together in ways that are just beginning to be understood by modern science, but has been intrinsically understood for ages
The experience is different and unique to everyone. And just like many medications, you may experience intense effects at first that will even out after a few days or weeks of using. You will get used to what you need to take each day. It is natural to allow for a reset, and break periodically from the meds. From one day to a few days or weeks, depending on how long and how high your dosage is. When you resume taking cannabis, it will be a lot like the first time again, with intense effects that will smooth out after a few doses or days. This is a good thing, and is used and built in to therapeutic routines of medical cannabis use. Remember, it’s all medical. Using cannabis to lighten your mood or feel happy, to help with depression, anxiety, neurosis, psychosis, or just help with focus and clarity is vital and useful towards obtaining balance in our health and lives. As well as relief from pain and physical dis-ease.
